Wizards Fly into the Hill at Harry Potter Weekend

Whether or not you have ever read Harry Potter book, you won’t want to miss the Chestnut Hill Harry Potter Weekend/Philadelphia Brotherly Love Cup Quidditch Tournament October 14th – 16th.

The weekend is packed full of fun and interesting EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES themed around the popular book and movie series. Harry Potter fans, novices and Muggles (non-magical people) will find something exciting to do in Chestnut Hill where GERMANTOWN AVENUE IS TRANSFORMED INTO HOGSMEADE.  The Golden Snitch will be running constantly at Chestnut Hill College during the 2nd Annual Philadelphia Brotherly Love Cup Quidditch tournament on Saturday, October 15th. Free and open to the public, the tournament features two Quidditch pitches with games playing simultaneously.

Come Woodmere Museum for the Owl’s Eye, to Morris Arboretum for the Scarecrow Walk and to the Quidditch Tournament and enjoy an enchanting weekend in Chestnut Hill with wizards, potions, spells, scavenger hunts, costumes, falconry, Wizard chess (using live pieces), parades and more.
