MOVIE TUESDAY at CENTER ON THE HILL:
September 14: 1 PM “March Of The Penguins” (2006)
While many people think of penguins as comical birds who look like they've been decked out in tuxedos, the truth is they're among the strongest and most resilient creatures in the animal kingdom. This fascinating and moving documentary is narrated by Morgan Freeman. Bring lunch if you like; the Center provides snacks and beverages.

September 21: Lunch with Renoir: A traveling program of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Enjoy the highlights of the museum’s recent exhibit, presented by docent Margaret McGreal, including Girl in a Red Ruff, 1896.

September 28: Tour Weavers Way Farm at Awbury Arboretum. Weavers Way Co-op has a farm at Awbury Arboretum on Washington Lane. Join us on a visit to this hidden treasure, featuring the Cope House, built in 1852, by shipbuilder Henry Cope, and enjoy lunch using the farm’s fresh produce.

Saturday October 2: Ever Been to a FLEA-ZAAR?
Well, now’s your chance! It’s a glorious mixture of all that’s best about flea markets and bazaars ……. Oodles of interesting stuff you won’t want to miss. This event is being organized by the Chestnut Hill Presbyterian Church. Donate your interesting stuff to benefit our fundraising efforts. Bring once-loved “white elephants” & jewelry to the CHCE office no later than Sep. 25.

Join us for a Meet & Greet reception celebrating the work of five local artists. The art exhibit will also be open to the public; all pieces are offered for sale and would make perfect gifts for those special people in your life.
