Morris Arboretum’s Garden Railway ‘09

Great American Lighthouses

 The Morris Arboretum Garden Railway returns this summer with Great American Lighthouses, and celebrates the beauty and history of the American coastline. Opening to kick off the summer season on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 23^rd the Garden Railway exhibit runs through October 12th.

Visit opening weekend, May 23-25 for a special Victorian-era Ride-On Train, this weekend only. The trackless, electric, environmentally-friendly Ride-On Train is powered by a silent 36-volt motor, and will transport 24 children on rides around the Arboretum every 15 minutes. The cost is $3 per child, $5 per adult. The Ride-on-Train is fair weather only and will not operate if it is raining.

 Race Rock Lighthouse (c. 1879)
